New MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, 5K Monitor to Be Launched in October

New MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, 5K Monitor to Be Launched in October: Report

  • 10.5-inch iPad Pro to reportedly be released next year
  • MacBook Pro to sport new Oled function panels
  • Apple to launch next iPhone models on September 7

It’s official. Apple is launching the next iPhone on September 7. The Cupertino giant is also expected to introduce the successor of the original Apple Watch, but there’s been no word on Apple’s plans for its other products alongside. Now, we get fresh intelligence claiming that Apple is looking to bring new Macbooks and a new 5K display sometime in October. Apple is also working on few iPad upgrades that are expected to be rolled out next year.

According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is working on new software upgrade to provide more professional tools for iPad users. This update is expected to be rolled out in the first half of 2017, and will bring wider operating-system support for the Apple Pencil, along with several hardware performance improvements as well. Currently, Apple only allows the stylus to annotate on specifically developed apps. This update looks to bring system-wide support for annotation on apps like Safari, Mail, Messages, and more, similar to how the S Pen stylus works on Galaxy Note devices. If released in the first half of next year, the new software is expected to be introduced with an iOS 10 upgrade. If later, it might be introduced with the next version of iOS.

As for hardware improvement, it will bring a faster display for smoother zooming and panning. Apple isn’t planning to refresh its iPad lineup until next year to celebrate its ten year anniversary. The 10.5-inch iPad Pro is said to hit the market next year, replacing the 9.7-inch one, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed earlier this year.

Coming to Mac products, Apple is planning to refresh the Mac lineup in October this year. This is in linewith what Kuo had said earlier this year. This lineup includes a new MacBook Air which will sport minimalistic upgrades and introduce support for USB Type-C. Apple is also working on new iMac computers with the option to integrate new graphic chips from Advanced Micro Devices Inc.

The most significant upgrade will be of the Macbook Pro, and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reiterates what Kuo had said earlier. Apple is expected to unveil 13-inch and 15-inch variants with Oled display panels above the keyboard. It will replace the physical function keys, and is also expected to include the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The report states that the panel is being called the “Dynamic Function Row” internally, but this isn’t necessarily the official name of the feature. The panel requires the MacBook Pro to run on the latest Sierra OS, and the final build is expected to roll out sometime in September.

After announcing that it won’t replenish the stock for its Thunderbolt Displays, Apple is now reportedly working with LG to build 5K display standalone monitors with integrated GPUs. The integrated GPU will help the monitors maintain compatibility with future Macs, and will also reduce the need of high resolution displays to be powered by high-performance computers featuring top-end GPUs.

The new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and the 5K monitor were expected to be unveiled in June, but that didn’t happen. Apple is now expected to unveil the refreshed Mac products and the new monitor in October, after the frenzy around its iPhone starts to wear off. For now, the entire spotlight is on September 7.

LeEco Sets Up Smartphone Manufacturing Unit in Greater Noida

  • Facility has been set up with an investment of $5 million
  • Plans to ramp up production to 200,000 smartphones per month
  • LeEco crossed the one million sales volume for smartphones in India

Joining the bandwagon to begin manufacturing in India, Internet technology conglomerate LeEco on Tuesday launched a state-of-the-art smartphone manufacturing unit in Greater Noida.

Spread over 200,000 square feet area and having a capacity to produce nearly 60,000 phones per month initially, the unit already employs over 200 professionals. LeEco said the facility has been set up with an investment of $5 million (roughly Rs. 33.5 crores), and that it is also investing a further $2 million (roughly Rs. 13.4 crores) for the automation process at the facility.

“As the market size for electronics is expected to grow to $400 billion (roughly Rs. 2,680,000 crores) by 2020, it is imperative to promote indigenous manufacturing. LeEco is a name of global reputation and it is heartening to see it align with ‘Make in India’ after entering India just eight months earlier,” said Information Technology (IT) and Electronics Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The Minister, who inaugurated the unit at a function in the capital, said the government hails LeEco’s efforts to train local talent and build a centre of research and development excellence in the country.

LeEco plans to ramp up the production to approximately 200,000 smartphones per month by the end of this year.

The company has collaborated with leading electronics manufacturer Compal Electronics to set up the facility.

“India is top priority in LeEco’s global expansion roadmap. Our investments here – be it manufacturing plant or our R&D centre that will train hundreds of local talent – demonstrate that we are here for the long haul,” said Tin Mok, Vice President of Le Holdings and CEO of LeEco Asia Pacific.

LeEco also announced that it has crossed the one million sales volume for smartphones in India. LeEco entered the Indian market in January this year. The company has so far launched five smartphones in the country, its LeEco membership of content and Internet services, its e-commerce platform LeMall, and most recently its SuperTVs – the Super3 Series.

“The one million milestone marks our strong mobile phone presence in the Indian market and we hope to continue catering to the growing demand of users with our locally produced superphones,” noted Atul Jain, COO of Smart Electronics Business at LeEco India.

HTC Reveals Android Nougat Update Schedule; Backtracks on One A9 Promise

HTC Reveals Android Nougat Update Schedule; Backtracks on One A9 Promise

  • HTC had promised Android update 15 days after it hit Nexus devices
  • The company has now delayed the update release to the fourth quarter
  • HTC 10, One M9, One A9 to receive the update

When HTC launched the One A9 earlier this year, it made a promise to release every Android update within 15 days of its rollout to Nexus devices. However, the company just released a tweet confirming that it doesn’t plan to do that. Google released the final build of Android 7.0 Nougat this week, and HTC soon announced its timeline for the update on HTC 10, HTC One M9, and HTC One A9, however it is nowhere near the speed that was promised.

The HTC 10 will be the first to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update (with the HTC Sense skin on top) sometime in the fourth quarter. The HTC One M9 and HTC One A9 will receive it soon after. This is in contrast with what HTC had promised in March. After the launch of One A9, HTC proclaimed that the unlocked version of the smartphone will get “every” Android update “within 15 days” of when it first gets pushed to Google’s Nexus devices.

While we aren’t sure the amount of asterisks that were attached to this statement, the company hasn’t kept its word of a 15-day update release promise. In any case, HTC is currently selling the HTC 10 at a discount of $100 (roughly Rs. 6,700) in the US. It has also introduced two new colour variants in limited quantities, and the discount offer will last only till the end of this month.

Google has confirmed that the first new smartphone to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box will be the upcoming LG V20. The smartphone is set to launch on September 6 in San Francisco, and is touted to sport a dual camera setup, and a second screen.

  2. Scan
  3. Recover

Just as the steps, in order to recover files, you must launch the program. Then you must select the type of scan you wish to do. There are two scan modes, “quick scan” and “deep scan”. A quick scan is recommended, if you are short on time, and the file was recently deleted. While doing this, you can also select the directory in which you wish to conduct the scan, which will save more time as compared to scanning the whole disk. Moreover, you can also specify the type of file you are searching, and its extension in order to cut out the scanning time further. Once the quick scan ends, chances are that the file will probably be shown in results, however, if it doesn’t, one can go for the “deep scan” method.

Deep scan will again scan the same location in detail. It will find files, which had been corrupted, or are inaccessible, went hidden, or any other extreme circumstance from which quick scan couldn’t recover the file. By now, your file will be displayed in the results after the scanning process has ended.

In the results, you can click on the files, and preview the files, and check whether the contents are fine or not. If it is the file you want, you can recover it to its original location.
